Greetings beloved in Christ. We are in the season of Epiphany. And while I know Ash Wednesday is just four weeks away, I encourage you to linger a moment in this season. Epiphany is a green and growing season. It is the season of light. And I invite you for this little time we have left to contemplate our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ’s words when He says to the disciples, “You are the light of the world.” Those of us who have been baptized into life in Christ have been given the light of Christ, and we are called to share that light in a sometimes dark and dreary world. Being the light of Christ is not always easy, but it is our call to let the light of Christ’s love shine in us so brightly that it is reflected into the world around us. That it invites others into the joy and peace and the thankfulness of living in that light. Happy Epiphany.
