Our Partners

The Office of Advocacy and Social Justice does not and cannot work alone. We partner with institutions within and outside of the Episcopal Church in Colorado. These partnerships allow us to draw from many wells of wisdom to more deeply understand our place in our communities, our state, and our country.

Together Colorado

The official Coloradan member of the PICO national network, Together Colorado is a non-partisan, multi-racial, multi-faith community organization that unlocks the power of people to transform their communities through community organizing.  Comprised of 150 congregations, schools and clergy & faith leaders from Pueblo to Fort Collins, they are working together to put human dignity at the center of public life in Colorado.

Grounded in their faith and democratic traditions and in the everyday concerns of the people in their congregations, schools and communities, they train and equip faith leaders and volunteer community leaders to join together to resolve community issues on their own behalf at local, state and national levels.  Current key issues include education, health care, public safety, immigration and economic justice.

Lutheran Advocacy Ministry

Lutheran Advocacy Ministry-Colorado and  Lutheran Advocacy Ministry-New Mexico  are ministries of the Rocky Mountain Synod in partnership with the Church-wide Office  through  ELCA World Hunger. For over 30 years,  the Rocky Mountain Synod has intentionally  supported its advocacy ministries in Colorado and in New Mexico as well as advocacy activities in Wyoming and Utah. All policy priorities are determined in relation to ELCA Social Statements, Messages, and Resolutions.

Jubilee Ministries of Colorado

Jubilee Ministries is a nationwide network of more than 600 social outreach organizations and ministries all affiliated in some way with The Episcopal Church. In Colorado, we have 35 Jubilee Ministry centers, including food banks, day shelters, feeding programs, prison ministries, health care ministries, ministries serving immigrants, children and other vulnerable populations.

By creating a direct and dynamic link between our theology and our ethics—the talk and walk of our faith—Jubilee Ministry involves our congregations in the important work of empowering people to change their lives and communities.
