Diocesan Digest
The Diocesan Digest is a weekly publication from the Office of the Bishop that includes upcoming events for the Episcopal Church in Colorado focused on faith formation, advocacy & social justice, transition, communication, and stewardship opportunities that members, lay leaders, and clergy can engage in. In addition, the Diocesan Digest also includes opportunities to engage with parish and partner organization events and concerts around the diocese.
Submissions
Submissions that are accepted for inclusion in the Diocesan Digest include diocesan-wide faith formation, advocacy & social justice, transition, communication, and stewardship opportunities that are curated and/or facilitated by staff of the Office of the Bishop and Diocesan Institutions. Submissions by Office of the Bishop Staff and Diocesan Institution Staff may submit opportunities to be included by Monday at 12:00 pm for the upcoming edition that goes out on Wednesdays at 4:30 pm. Submissions received after Monday at 12:00 pm will be included in the following week’s edition. Submissions should be 175 words or less.
The Diocesan Digest also includes opportunities to engage with parish events and concerts as well as partner organization events around the diocese through two listings: Community Events & Opportunities and Concerts & Music Events. On each page is a link where submissions can be made. Submissions for these categories are accepted through Tuesday at 5:00 pm for the upcoming edition that goes out on Wednesdays at 4:30 pm.
Special diocesan-wide announcements that are time-sensitive and require immediate attention due to an emergency will be sent on a case-by-case basis, determined by the Bishop and the Canon for Communications & Evangelism.
