The Communications Department of the Episcopal Church in Colorado has a key focus on serving and supporting churches in the diocese in communicating with their members and communities the Good News of Jesus.

Training & Resources

The Communications Department provides training opportunities through CaffeinatedChurch.org and through the Caffeinated Church Conferences. Caffeinated Church was founded by the Episcopal Church in Colorado as a place for parish administrators, communicators, and lay leaders to find curated resources and engage with opportunities to grow their skills in all areas of communications at the parish level.

Media Relations

The Communications Department coordinates with the media in promotion and communication around diocesan events and projects, and for coordination of public relations inquiries in critical matters. The department is the liason between the diocese, the Episcopal Church media relations team, and the media.

Diocesan Communications

The Communications Department works with the Office of the Bishop staff to communicate diocesan initiatives, programs, ministries, news, and events to our 30,000 members statewide. The Communications Director develops and distributes key communications, both print and digital, and develops and ensures consistent use of the diocesan logo and graphics identity.
