ILEX Designs

ILEX Designs has been dedicated to the creation of singular, distinctive vestments and paraments for churches and individuals since 1979. My liturgical creations are a blend of traditional and contemporary, using vintage fabrics to suit each setting and individual. I consider my work to be an extension of ministry, and a reflection of the gifts, skills, and abilities that have come to us.

Mother’s Manna

Building rosaries is my form of contemplation and stress relief, the daily bread (manna) for a working mom. Every rosary I make is based on a quote I find inspirational or thought-provoking. Rosaries come with a sheet describing the history of the Anglican rosary, method for using them, and sets of prayers for your use. Multicultural Ministries, Office of the Bishop

In view of the notable Population Shifts in our demographics and the present Social Realities we live today, and in order to live more Intentionally and Faithfully into what God Calls Us, as the “Church Becoming,” as the “Beloved Community,” we must strive for a more authentically Multiethnic, Multicultural Church that shows our real Diversity and Inclusion.

Pilgrimage Ministries, Office of the Bishop

The spiritual practice of pilgrimage traces to the beginning of our tradition, as early Christians sought to encounter the Risen Christ by walking in the footsteps of Jesus in Jerusalem and throughout the Holy Land. Today both adult and youth pilgrims from across Colorado have discovered that by making a pilgrimage, individuals and communities experience their faith and find inspiration in ways they never imagined! Stop by to learn more about upcoming trips. Join us for a Zoom meeting, Friday, October 8, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89438623572.

Spiritual Direction Colorado

Teach Men to Fish

Teach Men to Fish is a 501c3 non-profit organization that offers free hands-on training in construction skills to young men and women in Uganda. A fundamental goal of the program is to assist apprentices to become independent, productive members of the community who are able to create a better life for themselves and their families.

The program emphasizes the importance of safe construction practices along with teamwork, accountability, and integrity. In February 2022, the apprentices completed a maternity facility (see photo) which they constructed “from the ground up,” and which has now seen the birth of over 400 babies. The next building project (to be started in January 2023) will be a new outpatient surgical center in a nearby community. All is done to the glory of God.

The Church of the Holy Redeemer

We are the oldest Anglo-Catholic parish in the diocese and historically an African-American church located in the heart of Denver’s African-American community. We have become a richly diverse faith community that unconditionally embraces people in love. By honoring our cultures, traditions, and faith, we live into a reconciled, just, free and faithful future. Learn and join with our new vision to become a social justice coalition center in partnership with other non-profits.
