Lenten Blog 2019

Theme

Removed from the distraction of color, black and white photos allow us to focus on the essence of an image and discover nuances and meaning that we otherwise might have missed. This Lent, we invite you to contribute to our Lenten blog by submitting a black and white photo and responding to the question: How does your image in black and white invite you to see depth, connection, wholeness, perhaps even God?

Submission Details

Please submit the following for your post:
  • Full-sized black and white photo. Remember that using the edit feature on your phone you can change a color photo to a black-and-white image.
  • 250-word reflection on how your image in black and white allows you to find depth, connection, wholeness, perhaps even God.
  • Brief biography of yourself.
  • Photo of yourself to include with your biography.

Posting Dates and Deadlines

We will post to the blog on Wednesdays and Fridays during Lent, beginning Ash Wednesday (March 6). Please let us know which date you would like your contribution to appear. Submissions are due to Faith@EpiscopalColorado.org two days before your scheduled post.
