- 33rd Annual Opera Sunday with Saint Paul's and Central City Opera's Ballad of Baby Doe, Sunday, July 26, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 226 E First High Street, Central City, Colorado, 80427. This is our annual event that brings all Front Range members together for a Sunday in the mountains. Start the day with mass at 10:00 am, followed by a recital and a delicious homemade luncheon. The Ballad of Baby Doe is an original work based on the true story of silver baron Horace Taylor and his love affair that caused a scandal in Central City.
