- Cathedral Choir Spring Concert, Friday, May 8, 7:00 pm, Saint John's Cathedral, 1350 Washington St. Denver, CO 80203. Join us as we continue to celebrate the joy of Easter with music! The Cathedral Choir will perform Healey Willan's majestic anthem O Praise the Lord, Percy Whitlock's sublime setting Here, O My Lord and Ralph Vaughan Williams' Five Mystical Songs for choir, organ, and baritone solo. - Kirkin' O' the Tartan, Sunday, May 17, at 3:00 pm, at Saint John's Cathedral, 1350 Washington St. Denver, CO 80203. Join Saint John's and the St. Andrew Society of Colorado for this annual tradition that incorporates Scottish music provided by the Denver and District Pipe Band and the Cathedral Choir. Following the service, please join us for a reception featuring coffee, Scottish shortbread, and performances by the Highland Dancers. - St. John's Music Society presents: Psalms, Sunday, May 24, 4:00 pm, at St. John's Episcopal Church, 1419 Pine St., Boulder, CO 80302. St. John's Principal Organist Aaron Hirsch presents a program exploring how the Psalms help connect us with generations of human conflict, and how they persevered through trust in the Lord. Works performed include György Ligeti's Volumina, Felix Mendlessohn's Sonata No. 6, and Julius Reubke's monumental Sonata on the 94th Psalm. This concert is free and open to all!
