Requirements
- Minimum age: should be at least 15 or a rising 10th grader
- Completion of confirmation course*
*The formation team will be offering a diocesan-wide Journey to Confirmation course March-April 2026. Talk to your priest to see if this might be a good fit for you. Learn more and register on our Formation Offerings page.
2026 Regional Confirmation Services
High Plains – Saturday, May 30, 2026, at St. John's Cathedral, Denver. Candidates arrive at 8:20 am for an 8:30 am rehearsal. Service begins at 10:00 am. Register here!
Northwest – Sunday, August 2, 2026, at All Saints, Battlement Mesa. Candidates arrive at 9:00 am for a 9:15 am rehearsal. Service begins at 10:00 am. Register here!
Southwest – Sunday, August 30, 2026, at St. Mark's, Durango. Candidates arrive at 9:45 am for a 10:00 am rehearsal. Service begins at 10:30 am. Register here!
Front Range – Saturday, October 24, 2026, at St. James, Wheat Ridge. Candidates arrive at 9:00 am for a 9:10 am rehearsal. Service begins at 10:00 am. Register here!
Sangre de Cristo – Sunday, October 18, 2026, at Ascension, Pueblo. Candidates arrive at 8:00 am for an 8:15 am rehearsal. Service begins at 9:00 am. Register here!
Confirmands from outside these regions are also welcome to participate in these services, should they be unable to attend their regional service.
Confirmation Certificates
Following confirmation services, the Office of the Bishop will mail certificates of confirmation and reception to individual churches to distribute. (Please note that there is a letter sent for reaffirmations.)
