Diocesan Finances

Our diocesan finances tell a story about the ministry we share and the commitments we make to one another. Through the generosity of congregations across Colorado, together with grants and other sources of support, we invest in the people, programs, and resources that help our churches live out the Gospel in their communities. Sharing these resources allows us to undertake ministry together that no congregation could sustain alone.

Congregational giving is the foundation of this shared work. Each parish and mission is called to contribute a minimum of ten percent of its annual plate and pledge income to support the ministry of the diocese. These contributions help provide Christian formation, youth and young adult ministry, pastoral care, support during clergy transitions, and practical guidance in communications, evangelism, stewardship, governance, and property matters. They also support our participation in the mission and ministry of the wider Episcopal Church.

Faithful stewardship includes openness about how our resources are received, managed, and used. This page brings diocesan financial information together in one place to help clergy, lay leaders, and members of our congregations understand and participate in our common life. We invite you to explore these resources, learn more about the ministries behind the numbers, and consider how our shared investments support the work God is calling us to do.
