Requirements

  • Minimum age: should be at least 15 or a rising 10th grader
  • Completion of confirmation course*

*The formation team will be offering a diocesan-wide Journey to Confirmation course March 31-April 28, 2025. Talk to your priest to see if this might be a good fit for you. Learn more and register on our Formation Offerings page.

Regional Confirmation Services

2025 Regional Confirmation Services:

High Plains – Saturday, May 17, 2025, at St. John’s Cathedral, Denver

Northwest – Saturday, July 19, 2025, Northwest Regional Worship event, location pending

Southwest – Saturday, June 28, 2025, location pending

Front Range – Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Calvary Church, Golden

Sangre de Cristo – Saturday, September 27, 2025, at St. Michael’s, Colorado Springs

Confirmands from outside these regions are also welcome to participate in these services, should they be unable to attend their regional service.

Confirmation Certificates

Following confirmation services, the Office of the Bishop will mail certificates of confirmation and reception to individual churches to distribute. (Please note that there is no certificate for reaffirmation.)
