Gracious God,
We praise you for the marvels of your creation,
For the plants growing in earth and water,
The life that creeps through the soils and land,
For all the creatures in the wetlands and waterways,
For life flying above earth and sea
For the diversity and beauty of your creation
We stand in awe and wonder.
Your Creation
O Lord, grant us the grace to grow deeper in our respect of
And care for your creation.
Lord, hear our prayer
O Lord, help us to recognize the sacredness of all of your
Creatures as signs of your wonderous love.
Lord, hear our prayer.
O Lord, help us turn from the selfish consumption of
Resources meant for all and to see the impacts of our
choices on the poor and vulnerable.
Lord, hear our prayer.

Touch the earth lightly, use the earth gently,
Nourish the life of the world in our care:
Gift of great wonder, ours to surrender,
Trust for the children tomorrow will bear.

God of our planet, forestall and forgive.

Creator God, breathing your own life into being,
you gave us the gift of life:
you placed us on this earth
With its minerals and waters,
Flowers and fruits,
Living creatures of grace and beauty.
You gave us the care of the earth.
Teach us, Creator God of Love,
That the earth and all its fullness is yours,
The world and all who dwell in it.
Call us yet again to safeguard the gift of life.
