Greetings, Beloved in Christ:
I hope that you are well on this day. Here in the Episcopal Church in Colorado, today was new clergy orientation day. I was delighted to welcome eight new clerics to the office of the Bishop to talk about their new ministry, to orient them to the Episcopal Church in Colorado to talk about the bonds of collegiality. As Bishop of this Diocese, I am thrilled with the caliber of clergy who serve here. And it is my hope that as we continue to serve in these challenging times, we can continually build the bonds of collegiality. None of us is meant to do this ministry alone. We are meant to do it with the help and the prayers and the support of those who share in this ministry. It is especially true for us who are called to ordained ministry. We need one another to do this work that we are called to do in Christ's name. I am grateful that the clergy of this diocese are faithful, are energetic, and willing to meet these challenging times, and I continue to pray for every member of the clergy of this diocese. We have a witness yet to make and by God's grace and with one another's help and encouragement, we will make that witness.
Blessings.
