Greetings, beloved in Christ. I am a few short hours from getting on my plane to Kenya and facing the challenge of packing. I'm trying to figure out how to get all of that stuff into two bags. This one and… Oh, where is it? This one. The challenge is how does one pack for liturgical work with one's vestments and safari? It's a lot, but I am determined.
I want to ask your prayers. Prayers for me, for safe travel. Prayers that the Holy Spirit will show up in new and unexpected ways. Prayers for my staff and those who are holding down the fort, both at work and my husband who is holding down the fort at home. I ask your prayers that I build relationship, good relationship, deep and holy relationship with those I encounter along the way. And I ask your prayers for my own personal peace. I tend to get anxious when I don't know everything. And part of my discipline on sabbatical is being okay with not knowing what's next and being okay with having to learn things afresh. And I ask your prayers for all of those things, and I want you to know you will be in my prayers and I will try and send updates along the way. Blessings.
