Greetings beloved in Christ. I bring you greetings today from Camp Allen in the Diocese of Texas where I have been attending the House of Bishop's spring meeting. This has been a really productive meeting. I have spent time with my faithful colleagues and we have discerned our expectations around priestly formation. We have talked about our theology of Eucharist and how the distribution of Eucharist should be in accordance with our theology as a church. We have adopted resolutions in support of the Archbishop of the Diocese of Jerusalem, and of the new Archbishop of Canterbury named Sarah Mullally. We have had time for prayer and fellowship, and it is a fitting end to my sabbatical to be with my bishop colleagues as we discern the future of the Episcopal Church and how we will faithfully walk into that future.

I want you to know that I am so looking forward to being back with you. I am thankful to you for the opportunity to have the sabbatical time, and know I have missed you. I'm ready to get back to work, to doing the things that we are called to do by our God, being a loving presence in this world when there is so much suffering and division. I look forward to sharing with you more stories of my sabbatical and being in community with you. I look forward to coming back to being among the faithful people of the Episcopal Church in Colorado, to doing the ministry that we are called to, and I wish you all a blessed holy week.
