  • Stars and Pipes Forever, Sunday, June 30, 4:00 pm, at St Stephen’s Episcopal Church 1 Del Mar Circle Aurora CO 80011. Our Director of Music, Frank Perko III, will perform an organ concert featuring many of our most beloved patriotic songs and tunes. The Canterbury Choir will also be a part of singing in the concert, and in addition, the audience will also have the opportunity to sing along in some of our nation’s most treasured patriotic music. After the concert we’ll enjoy a reception with good old-fashion hot dogs and goodies. A freewill offering will be collected in support of the music program. TRĒO is a jazz-fusion trio that blurs the styles of traditional jazz, fusion, rock, blues, and progressive funk. With eclectic arrangements of classic rock tunes, TRĒO pushes the boundaries into a new genre of jazz.   • Jazz in the Garden: USAFA FALCONAIRES, Friday, July 26, 7:00 pm, at Grace and St. Stephen’s, Corner of North Tejon and Monument Streets in Downtown Colorado Springs. The professional Airmen-musicians in the Falconaires follow a long blue line of talented Air Force Academy bandsmen, dedicated to serving our great nation. They represent the young men and women at the United States Air Force Academy training to be officers of character who will lead our Air Force and Space Force.   • Jazz in the Garden: PAUL MUSSO QUARTET, Friday, August 9, 7:00 pm, at Grace and St. Stephen’s, Corner of North Tejon and Monument Streets in Downtown Colorado Springs. Denver guitarist and vocalist Paul Musso makes his Jazz in the Garden debut, playing a musical blend of old and new, with classic jazz standards, Brazilian bossa nova, and original music. As a freelance guitarist who has performed throughout the US with many ensembles including the Colorado Symphony, the Boulder Festival Orchestra, and the Aspen Music Festival, Musso is also a committed educator, teaching at CU Denver and as director for the jazz and commercial guitar program there. For more information visit www.jazzinthegarden.org.

Trumpeter Sean Hennessy is a protégé of jazz legend Wynton Marsalis. He has performed at Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center and across the country, exhibiting beautiful heartfelt melodies, light jesting humor and spirited and touching jazz.
