Hi, I am Bishop Emily Onyango, the Assistant Bishop Diocese of Bondo, and the Executive Director, CAWLRA. That is the Center for Anglican Women Leadership and Research in Africa, a center established by the six African women bishops in the continent. We are really looking forward as the women bishops to welcome Bishop Kym to Africa. During her time in Africa and in Kenya, Bishop Kym will interact with Christians in different dioceses in the province of Kenya. When Bishop Kym comes, she will first go and pay a call to the Primate in Nairobi.

Bishop Kym will have time with Christians in the Diocese of Machakos, and then go to the Diocese of Mombasa. Bishop Kym will also have time at CAWLRA, a center where we mentor women for ministry, we mentor young people, we do leadership training, and we respond to issues affecting Christian communities. During her time in Kenya, Bishop Kym will not only interact with Christians, but will also visit different places in Kenya.

Bishop Kym will get the opportunity to visit Tsavo National Park, lake Nakuru National Park, lake Naivasha National Park, and also see other sites in Kenya. When Bishop Kym comes to Western Kenya in my diocese, she will interact with the governor of Kisumu, Professor Anyang' Nyong'o, the father to Lupita Nyong'o, and she'll also have the opportunity to consecrate my home church. She will have the opportunity to visit the Children Development Center to conduct confirmation service and to preach at the Diocesan Commissioning Service for Mothers Union, and Bishop Kym will meet with both Christians and also citizens of Kenya. We are very happy and excited, looking forward to the visit of Bishop Kym.
