Greetings, beloved. In Christ. The holiday season is fast approaching, and if you are finding yourself a little lacking in holiday spirit, I encourage you to go and serve someone across the Episcopal Church in Colorado, we have amazing outreach ministries from Grace’s Kitchen in Cortez to Laundry love in Colorado Springs from the Ministry of St. George’s and Leadville to the St. Francis Center and St. Clare’s here in the Denver metro area. The Episcopal Church is serving the world in Christ’s name. And whenever I find myself feeling a lack in my own spirit, it is reaching out to others. It is sharing grace and being reminded of how blessed I really am. That renews me, renews my spirit, renews my soul. And so I invite you. Find a way to serve those who are hungry. Find a way to give water to those who are thirsty. Find a way to serve those in your community who are lacking, because as St. Francis told us, it is really in giving that we receive blessings.
