Southwest Region Calendar
Regional Convocations – Saturday, September 7
The 5 Regional Convocations will take place on a single day, Saturday, September 7, 2024, beginning via Zoom at 9:00 am together in a combined diocesan-wide online convocation meeting with Bishop’s reflection and budget presentation, followed by individual and separate regional convocation gatherings and elections from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
Registered delegates will receive convocation Zoom meeting information for September 7, 9:00 to 11:00 am. Convocation is a time for diocesan business matters. We encourage regions to gather at separate times, either in-person or virtually, for community building and social engagement.

- SW Region Visiting Deacons 2024 Grant Report… Deacon Jamie Galbasini and I have used 477.09 of the $3,000.00 of the Visiting Deacons grant to date. We used that amount to help fund a trip to St. Christopher’s Mission in March to serve with Bishop Barry Beisler on his visit to that church. We plan to use the remaining $2,523 to fund other visits to churches on the Navajo Nation before the end of 2024.
