Regional Confirmation Services
Three of the five regions of The Episcopal Church in Colorado offer an annual regional confirmation service.
- High Plains: Saturday, April 7, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
- Front Range: Saturday, June 9, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
- Sangre de Cristo: Saturday, April 28, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
Locations for regional confirmation services vary from year to year.
Churches with individuals wishing to be confirmed, received, or reaffirmed at one of the above services should contact the regional administrator or missioner for that region. Go to regional information >
Confirmands from outside these regions are also welcome to participate in these services, should they be unable to attend their regional service.
Local Confirmation Services
Currently the Northwestern and Southwestern regions do not offer a regional confirmation service. However, the bishop’s visitations are always an opportunity for confirmation and churches on the visitation schedule welcome confirmands from other churches.
With prior notice, individuals from these regions also have the option of participating in one of the regional confirmation services listed above.
Churches with individuals wishing to be confirmed, received, or reaffirmed in one of these regions should contact the regional administrator or missioner for that region. Go to regional information >
Churches must complete a Confirmation Data Form that includes information about each candidate for confirmation, reception, and reaffirmation. Forms should be returned to the regional administrator or missioner.
Following confirmation services, The Office of the Bishop will mail certificates of confirmation and reception to individual churches to distribute. (Please note that there is no certificate for reaffirmation.)
