Come see the St. Tim’s Choir and a subset of the Stratus Chamber Orchestra for their Simple Gifts Concert. This concert will feature several anthems and Choral Scholar arias/solos and culminate in a rendition of Copland’s Appalachian Spring Suite.   • Lenten Choral Concert, Friday, April 4, 7:30 pm, at Saint John’s Cathedral, 1350 Washington St., Denver, 80203. The Cathedral Choir of Saint John’s will perform The Crucifixion by John Stainer and feature soloists Michael Hoffmann (tenor) and Bruno Sandes (baritone). The Crucifixion is a meditation on the Passion of Christ. Scored for baritone and tenor soloists, choir, and organ, this composition walks us through Holy Week and the Holy Triduum.   • Capitol Hill Concerts presents Cóisir, Saturday, April 5, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, 1400 N. Lafayette Street, Denver, CO 80218. This Traditional Irish ensemble performs dance music from Ireland, intertwined with haunting songs and original tunes. Cóisir, pronounced much like the word “kosher,” means “Party” in Irish.
