It’s Going to Be a Wonderful Summer!

Welcome to our summer camps information page, the source for everything you need to know about camp! Join us this summer as we embark on a wonder-filled time of exploration, adventure, and growing together in God’s grace and love amidst the beauty of Cathedral Ridge, the camp and retreat center for The Episcopal Church in Colorado. Each  camp offers a unique week-long experience, so read more below.

Cathedral Camp, June 17-23

Cathedral Camp is a whole week’s worth of sleepovers! Come experience the many traditions of Cathedral Ridge’s longest-running camp. Make new friends and reunite with old ones. Play all day. Have a carnival. Slide down the water slide, pray, hike, do crafts, sing, laugh, and watch the stars at night.

Campers: rising 3rd-8th graders
Cost: $450 (through April 30, then $500)

Junior and Senior Counselors in Training (CITs): ages 15-17
Cost: $250 (through April 30, then $275)

 


Creator Camp, June 24-30

God is the ultimate creator. Everywhere you look you see examples of divine imagination and artistry at work. Created in God’s image, we too are invited to be creators, and that’s what Creator Camp is all about.  Come make new friends and explore your creativity and artistic side through mixed media and performing arts. Find inspiration all around you at amazing Cathedral Ridge. Creator Camp will help you create your own art, learn to care for creation all around you, and draw closer to the ultimate creator–all at the same time!

Campers: rising 6th-9th graders
Cost: $500 (through April 30, then $550; cost includes a $50 art supply fee)

Junior and Senior Counselors in Training (CITs): ages 15-17
Cost: $250 (through April 30, then $275)

 


Explore Camp, July 8-14

Come explore the outdoors! Explore what it means to be a member of the Body of Christ. Explore Camp encourages kids to find their gifts by digging deeper into the environment around them. Kids experience traditional summer camp at its best: cabins and campfires; games and friendships; challenge courses, archery, and  outdoor learning.  Discover more about yourself, more about God, and more about the wonderful relationship that brings us all together.

Campers: rising 3rd-8th graders
Cost: $450 (through April 30, then $500)

Cosmos Camp, July 15-21

Ever wonder how science and God fit together? Explore physics at the ropes course, astronomy at evening campfires, and ecology on hikes all while finding new and fun ways to see the creator in the creation. Guest scientists help kids go deeper during daily activities. Come see how the God who made it all is in it all!

Campers: rising 6th-9th graders
Cost: $500 (through April 30, then $550; cost includes a $50 lab fee)

Junior and Senior Counselors in Training (CITs): ages 15-17
Cost: $250 (through April 30, then $275)

 


Colorado Youth Leadership Initiative (COYLI) Year I, July 15-21*

What does it mean to be a servant leader, work as a team, and bring your full heart and faith into every aspect of your life? Through team and individual challenges, students learn judgment and decision-making skills based in God and faith and how to apply them with compassion as servant leaders in the world. Team-building, spiritual practice, and exploration are central to this program. COYLI is a three-year commitment.

For rising 9th-10th graders
Cost: $600

*Registration for this camp will open April 3. Participants must first complete the COYLI application process in order to register for camp.
