The Bishop and Board of Cathedral Ridge are pleased to announce that Grae Dickson has accepted the Executive Director position at Cathedral Ridge. In this role, Grae will oversee all operations and strategic development of the Cathedral Ridge property and facilities. The Executive Director is responsible for effectively managing Cathedral Ridge’s infrastructure, development, human and financial resources, as well as creating systems that efficiently support daily operations. Grae is excited about supporting the vision for faith formation and evangelism across The Episcopal Church in Colorado.
Grae Dickson’s Biography
Grae Dickson was born in Jackson, Mississippi, into a deep-rooted Mississippi Episcopalian home. At an early age, he developed many of his core values including a love of God developed through the Episcopal Diocese of Mississippi and good ole Southern Hospitality. Grae and his wife, Laura, and son, Graeme, are excited about this new adventure and are ready to experience all that Colorado has to offer.
With over 25 years of experience in the Hospitality Industry, 35 years of involvement with Christian summer camps and the many opportunities presented to him through the church, Grae has devoted his time, talents and focus to Camp and Conference Center ministry. For the last eleven years, he has served on the Gray Center staff for the Diocese of Mississippi, with the last four as Executive Director. During that time, Grae also served as a summer Camp Director, Center for Formation and Mission Board Member, and also served on several diocesan committees. Grae has also been highly involved on the national level as a speaker at multiple conferences and leader for national events.
As Executive Director of Cathedral Ridge, Grae hopes that his love of the church and enthusiasm for camp and conference ministry will take Cathedral Ridge to the next level. A passion to help direct Cathedral Ridge into the future is the primary focus for Grae and he cannot wait to establish new relationships that will help enhance the mission of the Episcopal Church in Colorado.
